im TIRED!!!

I love college, i love being away from home, being independent and everything but im tired! im tired of school, sports, and study hall. I mean i feel like my body is falling apart. im just singling out the Student athletes i mean ive heard almost everybody no matter what sport they play or don't play say something similar to this. i keep thinkn "i got how many more years of this?!" anybody else tired?!

With Drake being my favorite Artist once again i was listening to one of his songz and it gave me an idea for the Blog. Successful by drake ft Trey Songz is What most people think success is, Money, Cars, Clothes, and don't forget about the Hoes. In the song Drake makes direct Quotes on how he feels success really is.

To me Success is different for everbody. I don't need hoes to be successful. Cars and clothes don't define a person's success either. But what does? what makes you feel successful? Is it people knowing your name? Is it signing autographs? Is it girls texting you at all hours of the night? What makes you successful??

These lyrics were taken from a song i just recently heard by my favorite artist Drake. The song describes how he feels about a girl he claims he is just "a little bit" on love with. He also claims that he only loves her if she loves him. To me Love is such a tricky thing. How do you know if it's real love? if you love some one do you agree wit everything they say? Can you argue with someone one you love? Drake also states in another song

This is a verse written by Drake a rapper out of Canada. To me this is one of the most profound things ever said. i mean honestly, to me girls are their prettiest when there just relaxing, not all dressed up, with make up and eye liner. Now don't get me wrong girls who don't take care of them selves and look a hot mess are not the same as a girl who wears "sweat pants and has her air tied". But sometimes girls go too far. i mean most guys would agree that a girls confidence can out way any flaw in her appearance. I think a girl who can wear sweats and still look cute is perfect. I mean sweats aren't good if you wearin them out to parties and what not but there is nothin wrong with haven a couple days were you just sweat pants it up. Do my fellas agree? And ladies do you see were i'm comin from??

This past week or so have been crazy. I just turned in a 8 page paper on the theory of Middle Child Syndrome. I had two scrimmages, both went well. I also had meet the team day, which was fun. The whole team went through about an hour drills in front of some students and fans. It was kinda exciting to see people in the gym more than the regular 5 or 6 we normally see. It was good for people to see our funny side. So many people think my teammates and I Cocky or stuck-up. Which is funny to me because they are some of the most funniest people I've ever been around. Friday is our first game and I don't know if i'm more excite or nervous, or maybe I'm a little of both. But i can't wait to get my first points at JPJ i told some one i was gonna kiss the court but i don't know how well that will go over with the coaches.

Almost here

The season is now only days away. With one scrimmage under my belt i feel prepared but still alittle nervous. This is like nothing i've ever been through before. Our teams first game is against Longwood university, next friday. then that next monday we play University of South Florida. Just like that my first year of college basketball will be underway. Is anybody else excited for our basketball season to start? Oh by the way our Girls team is going to be very good! Not only do we have a top 5 girls recruiting class, our girls are ranked in the top 15 in the nation. I can't wait to see them play this year. Are any other freshman nervous/ our were any other freshman nervous??

Whats it like to be a regular student???

Over the last couple of days my schedule has went from rough to ridiculous. From 2 study halls (my first from 12-2 and my second from 7-9) everyday, to official practice from 3-6. Sometimes i just wonder what it would be like to be a regular student.
No one checking your classes, no one making you go to class, no 6am lifts. Just a regular student, and all i had to worry about was my school work. Now I'm not throwing a pity party for my self, this is what i signed up for and if i didn't love it i would not do it, but sometimes i wonder how my grades would be so much better if i was a regular student. i just wonder how much more sleep i would be getting if i was a regular student. And whats so hard about being a regular student? We take the same class with the same load regular students do.....just some thoughts

Hey just checkn back in. We just got back from fall break so I got a chance to go home for about 3 days. It was good seeing them my two little sisters mean a lot to me (jasmine-12, jade-7).One thing that I truly miss is my moms cooking! With me being the oldest it feels weird not being around, but they know how much I love them so they’ll be fine. We finish up workouts soon then we start full on practice. Our team looks very sharp. Coach has us playing tough hard nose defense every workout. The college game is so much faster than high school but you learn to adjust quickly. Me and my roommate Jontel just got cable in out room so life Is pretty good. Classes aren’t too rough. Startn to get use to my schedule even though it seems like it chances everyday with tutor times and study hall. I got a chance to see that Monday night game between green bay and Minnesota, it was a classic. I’m a big football fan my team is Carolina, we play the redskins next weekend hopefully we can get a win.

Music is a big part of my every day life. With so much free time on my hand my ipod is always on. With that being said one question that frequently comes to mind is who is the best rapper alive?? With the blue print 3 just dropping the question has become even more debateable. For some the feeling is not mutual.
